Its the day you get ready for Sunday! LOL
Anyway so continuing on activities for kids I have some more to post.
First if you have never tried it then this is something you have to do even as an adult!!! Go buy a container of corn starch (usually super cheap like a dollar). Get a bucket or tupperware container and fill it with some water and mix in the corn starch. I think I could play with this stuff for hours! Your kids will love it. If it is too messy have them play outdoors with it or in the bathtub. If it gets on anything, just wait till it dries, then vacuum it up.
MAGNETIC MOSAICS
Next is a fun magnet art project. Buy magnet roll from the craft store, and get something colored, it can be paper or vinyl or material, whatever you like (I just used colored cardstock). Unroll part of the magnet strip and pull off the wax paper, stick your colorful material on to the magnet (it is already sticky) then cut around it and cut the magnet into little squares. You end up with tons of little magnets that are magnet on one side and a colorful square on the other side. Do this with a whole bunch of different colors, then put all your small colorful magnet squares in a tupperware container with a lid. You can show your child how to make pictures (mosaics) out of all the little tiles or you can let them figure it out themselves. You definitely always have the option of using your magnets on the fridge. You can also use a cookie sheet or metal tray, I found a cool metal tray at the dollar store so you could always try there.
Enjoy and have a nice night!
